Hey guys.
I used the MMR-60 Radio transmitter with my W950i and when the popup appears, i can edit the frequency value, but when i click continue, it hangs! The transmitter is in fine working order as i have used it on other phones, the W800i, both on the network O2.
I phoned Sony Ericsson about this problem, and they have suggested it is the Phones network's software in the phone stopping it. I phoned O2 and they don't know anything about the MMR-60's. Hmmmm.
If there is ANYONE out there who knows more than me or can help, let me know!!!

I have experienced exactly the same problem. Puchased the MMR-60 off ebay as it was advertised as working with my W950i. Noticed on the packaging that it wasn't listed but presumed this was because the phone is quite new.

When attaching the FM module to the phone it recognises the device and asks me to confirm the frequency, however when clicking continue the device flashes as though accepting the command but the buttons onscreen do not clear down.

My phone is on the 3 network in the UK so it seems like it's not just 02 with the dodgy software!

I've also got exactly this problem, and I'm on orange in the UK.

I've also tried the device successfully on another model (K618i).

This is really very poor.

I wonder whether SE have some idea of the problem - the w950i is not listed on the international product site, yet the chinese version of the same phone (the W958c) is...?

Mailed Sony Ericsson and their only response was that this was not a product supported in the UK.

Nice for them to help!!!

Seems strange that other UK (international) phones such as the w800i seem to work ok. Wonder why the software on the w950i blocks it. Is it easy to get my phone unbranded or is this risky???
