Hi guys,
1 hour ago I bought a P990i.
So I am in the esato club.
Yupeeeee.... It is superb.
Love it.
Anyway, have an P900 also which was my best phone ever so far. No problem ever had with it.It is still working just fine but P990i is a little bit better.
I wanted before to buy an M600i, but I ended up with this wonderful toy. Just couldn't give up to the normal 0,1,2...9 keypad, video call, WiFi and stuff.
What do you think?Did I made the right decision?
Brand new, unlocked, cost me 420 euro with a subscription for 1 year for 3 euro/month.
I just love it.
I saw that it has MegaBass inside too, like M600 and W950i.
Does this phone has a A2DP bluetooth stereo profile?Would be the wonder toy if it does.
Say welcome to another P990i brand new owner. I hope it will perform at least as good as my P900 which was very very good phone imo.

OMG!!!
Really?
Than I should have one of those.
Nice, and MS Duo Pro is cheaper than M2 memories used by M600i.

Plus the 8GB version will be out soon. If the P990i can support it who needs an iPhone? Why, oh why do the Cyber-shot phones have Memory Stick Micro? Anyway, congratulations on your purchase. Hope you enjoy it!

8GB?
Jeeez.
Does this mean that P990 supports 4 GB MS Pro Duo?
Is that true?

congratulation! You made the right choice IMO. I can't remember when a thing gave me such joy as this phone, absolutely amazing toy. Honestly I use my PC at least 50 percent less (at my home) since I bought P990 because I browse the internet, download media files, read and edit some office files, receive and send emails (with wifi large attachments go like a charm), listen music, watch movies etc. all using this little beauty.
P900 is a real toy comparing to P990 and you will soon realise it (I had 900 and 910 before). Just to see this brilliant screen say all.
But you must be aware of it's shortcoming in the form of memory leak and RAM problem although as I can see the new fw improved it a lot. Anyway use swiss manager (pro version is much better) and soon you will know how to handle the mentioned shortcoming. All the best.

@Koto
How did you copy doc or xls files from the PC to the P990i memory stick? I tried to do that via file manager and the system says cannot copy files.
Appreciate any leads or thoughts you might have about this.
In general, I have also just owned this phone and I must say I am really happy with it. I love the way it feels in my hands and the endless possibilities I can have with this phone - ilove the radio, pics, video, pds and phone functions!
However since my set is not from generic world 1/2, I am still waiting for the firmware update for Asia.... sigh..

yes, me to cda /65 so must wait. I copy all wanted files (doc, xls and all others) simply by using usb mass storage. Before that just select 'file transfer' in connections-usb. It goes quite fast (350 mb movie 7-10 min.). Hope this help.
