> SMS Delivery Report On Start Up P990
Bookmark topic
Every time I restart my phone I get a SMS delivery report saying that a message has been delivered on 02/07/06!!
This has happened every single time.
Why is this, and how do I get rid of it? Anyone had this?
Thanks.

hi
i'm using m600, and i'm in Indonesia.
i have once have this trouble. everytime i start the phone, there are at least 3 to 5 old delivery report. I didn't do anything to my phone, suddenly it's stop.
maybe it's network error? have you tried to move your simcard to other phone perhaps? if the same problem occurs, it's network error. or maybe you can try to send sms to other numbers, maybe it will overide the "pending" delivery reports.
sorry for my english.

Could be a firmware glitch, I had an S700i that would sound the text message tones every time it started up for some reason, never quite sure why it did that but suspect a firmware update would have fixed it.
Have you tried updating the firmware at all?

My p990 used to show about 10 reports on startup.5his is how you get rid of them:go to Control Panel/Messaging/sms account and uncheck the box where it says Show expedition report,or something like that. The reports will still be on,but they won't show up on the screen anymore.Instead, when the message has been received by the other person, you will get a message beep on your phone and you will see a particular icon next to the message you sent,in MEssaging.hope it helps
