As the title says: "What`s
your wishlist for feautures, hardware, software from Sony Ericsson.
This is mine:
alkman
- 4GB or more memory (flash) in further
alkman phones.
- 3,5 mm jack output for earphones.
- Long playtime
Cybershot
- Autofocus ánd Macro in further Cybershot devices.
- 3,2 Megapixel or higher.
- BestPic and a new service.
- Good lens, optical zoom not recuired but it`s nice though.
Bussines/ Mseries
- 128 RAM/ROM working memory
- Touchscreen in further devices, but it aint gonna happen. *Check the rumours section*
- Voice-to-Text or Text-to-Voice.
Emotional range
- More mirror-finished devices
- More colours
- More pink!
New series like HandyCam/ Bravia/ Vaio/ etc.
- Keep the SE spirit, and release 2 devices with minor diffrences at the same time. Like HandyCam/ Bravia etc.
- Optical zoom recuired in the HandyCam series.
- At least 2,6 ~ 3.0 inch screens for the Bravia series.
- Vaio needs a good processor OMAP300 anyone?

I'd rather the cybershot phones had better quality sensors and lenses rather than just more megapixels - better sensitivity in low light to get rid of graininess, higher quality lenses that don't blur or fringe towards the edges and an optical zoom. The other thing with more megapixels is if the sensor is the same actual size, then it's actually less sensitive, because each pixel receives a smaller amount of light.

it would have:
5.0mp camera with autofocus.
4x digital zoom.
cif video recording resolution.
240x320 screen.
louder loudspeaker.
walkman player v3.0
1gb memory stick pro duo. (4gb max)
38mb internal memory.
3g , gprs tri band.
etc
if they realeased a phone like the k800i with these specs for £200 , they would blow nokia away.

Ideally I'd like to see a Cybershot/Walkman combination... it seems you have to choose between a good camera or good music, not both.
I'd also like to see it have optical zoom. And as already mentioned probably a bit better camera function, mine seems a little temperamental... sometimes it takes amazing photos, other times it comes out grainy as.
So basically a K800 with improved camera function, optical zoom and walkman functionality. I'd also like to see the screen on the K800 expanded a bit - it would feel so much bigger if the screen went past the grey border all the way to the join between the case and the lens.
