hi, i was just thinking that by having all my tracks in he-aac(coz i had stock 64mb) this would drain the battery faster than using the 80k mp3 i used on my old fone bcoz of the extra processing required. would this actual have a significant impact on batt life if i listen 2 alot of songz. also wud the bitrate have any impact on it?
i just bought a 1gig sony m2 micro and im puttin songs on it now not re-encoding mainly mp3 files.
thanks

yea,never tested,but noticed..
I hope next gen phones wont have this prob,as there might be dedicated hardware for codecs..
