Im in the uk using a computer with xp, i have a software datacable, but cannot get my pc to connect to my phone with the mobile phone manager software(MPM).
i have all the software required, and want to transfer pictures to my phone from my pc. any 1 got any ideas???
Please only reply if you have actually transferred pics this way, as i have spoken to several people with theories, and none work. i need to speak to someone with practical experience. (sorry if this sounds rude)....cheers

are you using DRS-10/11 serial cable or DCU-10 USB cable? which software are you using to transfer the pictures?
if you provide details it will be easier to diagnose.
And yes, i have done this since i got my T68 using DRS-10/infrared/Bluetooth (Anycom/MSI) with Windows 2000/Windows 98SE and Windows XP.
Fire away.

Maybe there is a problem with your cable is it an original DRS cable? is so you would have no problem using it since it connects once you plugged in the cable...

yup thats right just get an infra red device its much better than the cable. It can run the same as the cable but even more. If ever you get an MCA-20 then you can send taken pics. to your PC, the cable cannot do that.

I just bought an IrDA infrared adapter. Plug it in to your usb port and u have a working portable infrared port. Voila. And the price is less than what you have to pay for the dcu-10 (for me anyway

).
