Hi, I posted this on the new users forum but didn't get a response...

I'm a new M600i user and I noticed that whenever I'm browsing the web, my calls get sent straight to voicemail. Is there any way I can set it so that I get a call notification?

Thanks!

I've got the same "problem." When you use the internet on your M600i, there'll be an icon at the top that looks like a phone with a red strikethrough. When you click on it, you'll see a dialog box saying "Calls not allowed."

Now, on previous phones like the P800/P9xx you could change the settings - does anyone know whether you can do that on the M600i? I've tried all different places in the menu system, but can't find anything??

Go to Control panel, then Connections and then Internet accounts. Once there you will see a tab for accounts and one for Groups, while standing on the Accounts tab press the "more" button at the right lower corner of the screen and select Options. You will then see a "Preferred Mode" that should show PS only, Change that to CS only and you will be able to be connected to the internet and still receive voice calls. Cheers.

Doesn't CS = Circuit Switched, AKA slow old fashioned dial-up? PS is Packet Switched, otherwise known as GPRS or 3G. So switching it off isn't a very good idea (and you can't receive calls when you've dialled in using CS either).
