Steve Litchfield is maintaining a list of freeware available for UIQ 3 here. Steve is one of the good guys at All About Symbian.

About the WM, I had the Samsung i320 and hated it! I just love the fact that the SE P990i still has all the best functions of a sony ericsson phone.

The i320 runs the Smartphone edition of WM, lacking some important stuff compared to the bigger Pocket PC Phone edition. The most notable missing piece is "Organiser" (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Notes).

Comparing the P990i with the WM models available I think the HTC TyTN/Hermes would be the closest match. That was the first model with a QWERTY keyboard that also supported A2DP (wireless stereo sound).
