I have a K790a - the US version of the K800 - and I could not get good performance from RadioBee. I had good success with MFradio. It is Open Source so you can find it at source forge or just google mfradio.

It will skip a little if you have bad cell phone reception and you need to use a Shoutcast radio stream that is pretty low bandwidth/bitrate, like under 30 is good, 20 and under is better. I love Radio Flemme at 96 but the k790a can't handle the stream. But, you can get some great music off the web. The Atlanta Blues Society (ABS) channel that comes with MFradio is one of my favorites.

I also found it worked best if I put in the true URL
Firefox with the UnPlug addin, is pretty helpful at giving you the underlying URL
Good Luck

I realized the ABS might be a station that I added to mfRadio
So here's some examples of low bandwidth stations to get you started
Atlanta Blues Society

Not sure what kind of News radio your are looking for.
You can go to
http://www.shoutcast.com/ and search for 'news' and then sort the list by the bit rate. Look at the low bitrate broadcasts to see if any look promising.
Hope that helps
