Hi everyone..

I have a weird problem with my k750 joystick, when I enter the menu or the call list and press "down" with my joystick once, the highlight bar just keeps on going down as if I have my hand down on the joystick! And sometimes the joystick just doesn't work at all!
Anyone experience this b4 with their K750 or have any remedy for this b4 I take it down to the center?

Thanks

How long have you had your K750i? Is it a CID49? Try cleaning it... Coz there are 3 reasons why your joystick doesn't function properly... One is DUST! Two is FIRMWARE! THREE is WORN OUT JOYSTICK! May i ask you if your K750i came with a rubber seal around your joystick?

@markjason
Thanks for replying..

I've had my K750 since august of 2005, I'm not sure what u mean by CID49 but I think u mean the newer versions. I don't have a rubber seal around my joystick and my firmware is R1BC002 which works perfectly fine for me. I will buy one of those compressed air spray cans and have a go at the joystick with it. This problem happened all of a sudden which makes me doubt that it could be a faulty joystick and more of a dust problem.

Well there have been 10 months since I have my W800 and no joystick problems at all. I think the joystick is the same as the K750's one.

Have it replaced by a new one... It's a faulty joystick... Well, luckily i have the new release one so maybe the joystick is a little bit durable... It has a rubber seal around it... I hope it would last... Until i decide to get a new one... Mine is only 1 week old! =)

I've had my K750 for just 5months now, and the up joystick is already acting up. I will try this cleaning trick. but can I use a carburator spray cleaner as I've used it severally for cleaning electronic contacts without problems before.
