I've not had the W900 but on the K800, M600 and P990 that I have had it was built into the firmware.
what I am thinking is that perhaps you accessed it from the activity menu but the shortcut is no longer there so please take a look in the messaging menu to see if it is there
otherwise I'm a bit stumped too if indeed W900 does have RSS
