> Vodafone branding on M600 and W950 query.

Am torn between a M600 and a W950. Both phones I have looked at are on Vodafone (UK) but look to have very minimal branding. The packaging of the phones appears to be generic SE and the phones themselves have zero external branding. The only branding I can actually see is the start up splash screen.
Am a tad confused as I have read various issues that people have had with the M600 Voda branding but to me I could not see any big issues...the most common concern seems to be the today screen but this appears to be o.k to me and not having seen a generic SE one it is a bit hard to comment.
One thing I did notice is that the M600 sales package actually had a cardboard slip around it which was promoting the film Layer Cake....there was also a M2 512 card bundled with the film Snatch on it. So, what I,m wondering is that if this is a newer Voda M600 which has not been branded to the extent of the old one. This M600 was being sold through Phones4U and is on a pretty good vodafone contract.
Any advise on this would be greatly appreciated. I really like the look of the M600 but want to avoid the Vodafone branding at all costs.

Had a little Google and looking at the menu icons etc the ones on the m600 I'm looking at appear the same as the SE generic ones.
Can anyone confirm if the badly Voda branded m600 has the usual horrid red and black menu icons?
Am sure the phone I've seen only has the start up Voda screen so I'm a bit confused.
