My K790 came with a folder in the file manager called "Sports". I just wanted to know what this folder is for? Is it even supposed to come on the phone? It's the only folder that shows a creation date and before I got my phone a friend was holding it for me because she was bringing it over from the US. She wasn't supposed to open it but I remember the box from Amazon being open and the phone's box not having a plastic wrap. Please help.

So my friend secretly turned my phone on and started using it??? Then she tried to cover her tracks in a very sloppy way. Never trusting her again!

Either that or the phone is not new as advertised, perhaps a customer return that they have been very sloppy in hiding.

If that is the case then you could be due a refund or exchange if that's what you want as what you bought isn't as advertised.

Though ask your friend to be very honest and did she open the box or play with the phone?

She's not exactly my friend. More like my mom's friend. She must be at least 30 years older than me and I haven't even met her before. I doubt she'd be curious and she doesn't have any kids. Maybe a curious husband?

As to the seller, I bought it off amazon for U$419.99, although I could have had it for U$385 if my Visa qualified. Come to think of it, the lens cover was a bit loose when I got it.

Any way, the purchase took place back in November and I hadn't been curious about this until now. I'm happy with my phone and there's no signs of aging or previous usage.

You missed the first rule of all here. Never trust a woman. Personally I never heart of a sports folder. Was there anything in it?

Just wanted to let everybody know that the issue has been "solved". I found out that the folder is just on the Memory Stick so it probably has nothing to do with the phone.

I think any new folder is generally created on the memory stick as default.

Problem possibly not solved.
