Hi;
Just get a P990... And i was wondering if the cable that came in box with P990i is DCU60? I mean can i use it to flash/update my phones' firmwares. For trial; i used the cable with my z530i and update service always fails at finding the phone; which points me to that the provided cable isnt for f/w update... Anyway; i have already bought another dcu60; but it will probably arrive in a week; so cant i use the cable came with my p990???

as far as I am aware, all the recent SE phones that come with a cable, come with a DCU-60... definitly thats the case with the P990
this suggests you had some other issue with the Z530 not being found

but the cable came with my p990 has only 4 pins in total; at SE's DCU60 site; it shows that the cable has 12 pins... :$ weird...

yes, correct, but this seems not be an an issue
here are a couple of threads about that
this first one confirms the 4 pin cable works fine
What cable is bundled with p990?
and this one discusses the two different USB-60 cables with pictures
Check out this "original" DCU-60 I bought from a local
dealer here

I've always set language to my country (Norway) all three times i've upgraded. Worked every time.
