I want to buy a M600i phone, but I saw many user opinions about some software crashes, especialy on branded phones.
I want to hear some opinions from here too.

I cannot speak for branded phones, but my unbranded has been very stable for at least the last two firmware updates, i.e. several months now
its the best, and most used,

I have ever had!
branding often introduces bugs that are not present in the unbranded so if you want the phone go for unbranded

i have an unbranded m600 and with the latest update, R9EA, it is very stable.

dont go branded what ever you do. i've had 2 sim free Black M600i's and they were fine no probs.
Now have a white voda branded M600i and its nothing but trouble. some days it wont except calls of texts untill restart the phone. messages often take a while to open, and sometimes after installing themes, when get a call comming in the phone the phone would just restart and geth the "phone has been restarted to increase preformance" message.
although this is often annoying i still wont part with my white M600i... its just too pretty! and the keyboard is by far the best i've ever used on a phone.
do you think they'll release a new version of the M600i in 2007?
maybe ... M610i?

i too will join in with the "i love m600" banter.
truely a fantastic phone and my white one is beautiful (even tho it seems to be slowly turning yellow?). very very few issues with my phone since the first update i did.
i cant put into words how good the keypad is - hope its something SE are going to keep on any upcoming phones.
