Hi Everyone,
I had a problem recently with my K750 where it would not switch itself on, but I used Sony Ericssons's online software update service and now it seems to work fine except that I can hardly hear any of the sounds it makes. Ringtones, music, nothing. I have the speakers turned up to maximum, battery is fine, not sure what else to try!
Any ideas?
Cheers!

Whenever! I can't get my phone to make an audible sound whatever I do, mediaplayer, getting a call, setting ring tones. Well, it does make a sound but it's so quiet I have to put the phone to my ear just to hear it!

if you haven't ran out of warranty you can go to a service center and let it be flashed with a different firmware. can you please post your Firmware version?

I'm not sure about my warranty, but the last time i had a problem they wiped my phone and I really don't want them to do that again. How do I find out what firmware version I have?

Just a b.t.w., rather than help (sorry)... It seems currently a lot of firmware-updates across the board (not just SE) cause problems with noise levels... Maybe they haven't fully figured out how to
comply with new EU rules re. max. volume of portable music players that apply to phones with mp3 players as well? Posts all over the web about reduced volume after fw-upgrades - in many cases affecting more than just the music player !!!

The volume levels on my W810i are currently good. With what everyone is saying about vloume levels falling, do you think my phone should remain un-updated?
