What the f**k. My phone just made a restart when I was on a call, and now it just hangs there on the Sony Ericsson logo..... Man, I just cant belive this!!!!!! Cant do anything at all with it now. Going to try to make a new f/w update. So tired of this right now

Ok, so it did work to make a new update. After that I did a format of the disk and then a Master reset. And then a new update, so there can be nothing old left on the phone. But now comes the hard part, to reinstall all the thing again. AND, all the settings. Its going to take alot of time

you should make a backup in future, that way it would take a couple of minutes.

I've had no problems using my r7 backup restored to the newly flashed phone with r9. Problems might ofcourse occur but then again it might also not, as I experienced.

if he had many problems with old firmware its wise to just forget about the backup...it will worth the extra work
