how do i go about setting up and using FOTA on my k790a?

Just set to your operator internet setting and click Update Search. That's all. If there is an update, it will tell you.

Yes, just stick to your operator internet profile.
Go to Setting-General-Update Service-Search for update.
If your phone is branded, this feature may be deleted for such a reason.

i cant update via SEUS because it says my phone is already up to date but when i check the software info it styll says i have version R1EG001 when the latest is version R1GB001

mind you, even on my unbranded K800, even when an SEUS update was available, I never ever saw a FOTA available at the same time so I'm not sure how much it is implemented by SE

The same here. Anytime I access FOTA it always says my phone already has the latest firmware.
Anytime. It simply doesn't work for me, but many people succeeded in doing so out there. Don't know why..
