> How to play WMA in P990i

I heard that the W950i can play WMA audio file.
I have the P990i and the music player cannot play WMA audio. Am I missing some software setup ?

i think there are restrictions on the quality/bitrate of the music file in WMA format, try converting it to a lower bitrate and see if your fone plays it.

no, you are not missing anything. P990 and M600 do not support WMA whereas W950 does.
I guess being a music phone they gave it wider compatibility

true, but I was only comparing the latest UIQ3 phones
I hope they include WMA in all future phones as my whole music collection is ripped into wma though I suppose I could always re-rip into mp3
