i have problem wif my w850.. since firmware R1ED001.. the problem is camera menu.. if i go to camera, and it becomes hang.. i must take off the battery and put it again, then the function will go normally, although this condition not always happens.. T_T
after i update to the newest firmware R1GB001.. its still same.. how should i do ?? the problem is software or hardware??

send for warranty repair, my W850 also have the problems.
ask the service center to fix the problems.

if two different firmware versions are giving the same behaviour then it really does sound like a hardware issue that needs to be resolved by a support centre
