in my school, all the computers are controlled by the teacher in charge
sometimes its very annoying because another guy who do mantainence[another student] would play with it and destroy all my works by shutting my computer down
any softwate which i can install in my thumbdrive so whenever i open the exe., i can disable that particular process without getting the access denied dialoug box

By pulling the LAN cable out wouldn't you lose net access as well!

well this may be different in your school but in mine there is a loophole, try going into microsoft excel and go to insert>hyperlink and then browse for file location and then keep pressing the up one level and hopefully if you keep going up youl be able to access your m8s file and delete it or if you keep going the entire school network =)
