> W700 PLS HELP!

Hy everyone,
I'm new here and I am noob in mobile phones.....and I have a problem which you guys I'm sure you know the answer.
I bought 1 mounth a go a W700i! After 2 or 3 days of using it I realised that my display's phone is NOT like K750 and W800. W800 and K750 have more brightfull colors, gamma, contrast....although it has the same display and the same firmware( mine is R1CA021 Eu_1_CR). I went back to the store from were I bought it and I saw another W700 and it looked the same as mine......
My question is why there are so many diferences between W800 and W700 display? they have de same display.......and what can I do to fix this problem?? If I update the phone it will make any differnces?? I tried to update the phone whit SEUS (I saw there is a new firmware for W700 - R1DB001 -) and with no results .....SEUS says there are no avaible updates for my phone.....
Please guys help me out.....I realy like the phone and I don't wanna change it.....is there something to do ??? Pls help .....Thanke you very much!!!

Ofcourse I tried ....it's set to 100%.....
And I tried also from the Service Menu but W700 dosen't have brightness settings.....only for other things, camera, speaker, flash light, etc.
I search on many forums but it seems that there are few users of W700 and didn't find anything usefull.....
So if you got any ideeas ...please help

is not a matter of drivers, i think that is the lcd or the leds. compare the k300 and the k700, is like that.

Yes but K300 and K700 have different type of screen like w800 and W810, etc.
But W700's screen is the same as K750 and W800, same resolution, same colors, same bits. And I noticed something very interesting.....when I turn on the phone the first image is a blank white one......which stays on for 1 or 2 second and after that the SonyEricsson logo appears....but that blank white image is brighter than the rest.....so that's why I'm thinking that the LCD is able to produce more white/better contrast.....

My guess is that you should replace the phone. I´m a W700i user and I don´t have any troubles with it (I´ve owned it for 6 months now). Your problem might be in the hardware...

i noticed among same models different brightness, ones were more dimmed, the other ones shiny. imo u should let it check in se service point and ask them to compare it with other ones

The extremely bright screen that appears on the phone at start up also happens on the k750, then when the logo appears, its dimmed down. Just so you know dude. Hope that info helps.
Best bet would be to go the the service centre and have them compare with other W700s because maybe the shop you got it from received a crappy batch?

i just compared my friend's k750 and mine. RESULTS: his k750 is brighter than mine. my k750 has been with me since june 17th 06 and his is almost brand new. i set their brightness to 100% but his won.

I have one question..... I saw on this forum that some guys instaled on their K750 a display driver and they said that with that driver the colors of the display improved....so I tried to install that driver also....with phone XS 2 Alpha.....but when the process started the same things would appear on the screen of Phone XS.....waiting to disconect.....wayting to connect and afte that some numbers 1000 , 2000, etc.....after 5 or 10 minutes I stoped the process and nothing hapend....no upgrade....and the phone was working just fine....no problem at all....
So the question is.....can a display driver help me out with this problem.....are you sure this is a hardware problem???
Pls guy help me.....
