Anyone know when we get the latest firmware for our UK voda M600s
I updated and it has gone to:
Phone: R9a002
BT: R3A01
Org: R4C01
CDA: R1A08
My M600 is a lightly branded voda one (startup shut down screens and hardcoded internet settings)

Any idea what it was on before? I have the more heavily branded version, which is:
Phone: R4A002
BT: R3A01
Org: R3B01
I haven't tried updating for about a fortnight, I wonder if it's worth trying now? I'd be a bit annoyed if they've released one Voda version for one Voda M600i, but done nothing for the rest of us...

Sorry Boing not sure what it was before but it definately updated. I know voda arent selling the heavy branded version any more though might be worth getting yours debranded. I'm holding out hope that they will do a newer version for the light branded one

Well I tried and of course, no joy - I have the "latest" still.
I have to say it's a bit aggravating to find Vodafone have made the effort to approve one branded firmware update, but not the other. I expected there to be delays before each firmware got customised and released, but not for them to switch allegiance to a different version and forget about the rest of us

it is a bit crummy of them yes, i think the fact they have brought out a less branded version speaks volumes about their old branded one!
