> How to unlock K800i on 3 network?

I purchased Sony Ericsson for my girlfriend but it was with "Three". I didn't think much about it at the time, as I thought I could get it unlocked to O2. Not long after I purchased the phone I lost the receipt, just to add to the problem. I tried many companies in Aberdeen to get the phone unlocked, but no company had the software to unlock it (although 1 company said he'd have the software at the beginning of January).
I gave my G/F the phone for X-Mas and told her I'd be able to get it unlocked after New Year, so she was happy enough with that.
I tried the company that told me he'd have the software again, and he said Sony Ericsson aren't releasing the software for months to come...
Is this true? Or is anyone able to let me know how to unlock the phone from "Three" to "O2".. .. .. .. it will save me a right ear ful from the girlfriend. ha ha.

you can unlock them through davinci yourself for about 50/60 euros (about £30?) or you can go to the network the phone is locked to and ask them to give you the unlock code for about £20 or £25

i would prefer if u get the code from the operator instead of going to davinci. its more secure and trustworthy, if sg goes wrong, u have no chance to get your money back from davinci
