> ebay advice needed asap

basically i put a phone up for sale on ebay. i stated in the auction i only ship to the uk.
the winner had a uk address but wants the phone sent to nigera i have no intention of doing this any ideas on what i can do.
they have paid via paypal but its not cleared till i send a shipping number which i ve no intention of doing
so what do i need to do?

My mates just been caught out by this, the email is false, my mate has just sold a ps2 and sent it out, (it wasnt a nigerian address though, it was uk). Just relist it mate

Report it to Ebay as something like the buyer wanting the item shipped before cleared payment, and say what you've said in this thread, and that you think it's a scam.
I'd then offer the phone to the second highest bidder as a second chance offer, the original buyer hasn't adhered to your terms of not shipping outside of the UK anyway.

If it is a Nigerian scammer they're usually too lazy to leave negs, hopefully that account will get banned very soon anyway so even if they did leave a neg it would be cancelled out i believe if they're a recently-joined member... or if it's a hijacked account! You can usually appeal against them too, I've had one removed that way.

the email they sent shows how lazy they are. the email address in the to:section isnt even mine its a womans name , very sloppy.
though very annoying as i now have to wait to see if the other bidder still wants it.
