Hey everyone,

What I really miss from the old walkman w800 is the ability to add an entire folder when making playlists on my P990. It seems really weird that this is missing... or am I just missing out on something?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, P990 didn't like w800 kind to add folder to play list, but it had a faster way that you can create playlist.m3u from pc (winamp....), then put back on p990, hope this can help.

Ok I see! So where do I put the playlist-file so that the phone can recognize it?

you connect the w950, open the phone on the explorer, open winamp, clear the playlist, drag your folders that are on the phone into winamp, arrange them, press ctrl + s for saving and create a folder called playlists in your music folder. save 'em there. don't forget to update your music on the phone afterwards.

at least thats how it works for me. i'm fine with that. maybe you can even save it anywhere you like. as long as u save it directly on the phone (from winamp) and dont just copy a made playlist from your pc.

another hint:
if u change your playlists in winamp and overwrite your old one on the phone with the same name, the phone doesnt know it. still tries to play the old songs. so just name it hip-hop2 or sth. (then delete hip-hop1 manually on the phone, at least thats how i do)

put in the folder same as your mp3 files is ok, then put the ms back to phone then click media player > music >more > update music

then i will show the playlist below. just click inside, u can see the files...
