I have a Z550i and i was wondering is there a way/code to remove the operator name, time, date or to put a message under the operator name like on motorolas and LG's.

Also any other things like this or any other codes would be appreciated.

NOTE: plz tell me if stuff has been tested, i wouldnt want to stuff up my phone.

Afaik.there isnt any, u can be tricky to edit thm and text on standby menu with thm creator

Try Google. The latest is ver.3.06. You can go to http://developerworld.sonyericsson.com to get it. It's under Docs and Tools--Multimedia. Find the a standby wallpaper that is of the same color of operator name, clock and date text. Anyway, it's just a visual trick. Removing the items you mean is only done by modders. And I am NOT one of them. Browse in other forums.
Anyway, if you want to have a note on standby, can't you set the notes you make to be seen there from setting?

have no operator logo on my k750, i have an edited layout.xml that came with my icons menu. it does not work on all themes.

alot of times this "message" is a profile. people just rename their profiles. you create a new profile, clal it whatever you want, use it, and it says the profie name.

Add a new note, enter to Organizer -> notes... then in note write your text... later save it and press "More" in your note... after that select "Show in standby"... And... Voilá!!! Here you are!! a Personalized background..!

I just removed the Vodapone branding from my V800 (now a Z800) with the DaVinci Team's flashing client. Now it's a regular, unadorned SE phone like it came from SE directly. No more Vodaphone splash screen, no Vodaphone Live! crap-ola on the main menu.
