> K800i - Bluetooth not working
Bookmark topic
I've had my K800 now for a while (this is the 2nd one, the first passed away thanks to the infamous white screen of death!), but since I've had this replacement, the Bluetooth doesn't seem to work properly at all.
Doing a search for new devices doesn't find anything, even though my headset (HBH-600) and PC (MS Bluetooth dongle) are active. If I hold the headset right next to the phone, it will connect, but the audio is horribly distorted when I make a call. They both worked fine on my old K800i.
Has anyone else had a similar problem? Can anybody suggest a fix for this? I don't really want to go back and get yet another phone, I got fed up after my K750 had to be replaced 4 times!!
The firmware version is R1ED001, and customisation is CDA102511/41 R13A. I got the phone from Carphone Warehouse.

Try to upgrade firmware to R1GB some said it fix few bluetooth problem. However you may check your EROM ver first. If you don't have newest R3A016 then I recomend you update that one first to avoid WSOD.

Don't fiddle with the phone, just take it back. Let the service people try firmware upgrades or whatever. If they give you yet another replacement,
check that it is new and not a repaired model.

Cheers for your help guys, I'm going to try updating it through SEUS and see if that fixes the problem. If not it's back to CPW for a replacement.
Maybe I'm just really unlucky; I love SE, but I do seem to have had a bad run with them, hopefully my next phone (still gonna go with SE - W950i or its successor!

) will be fine!
