I have a P990i on Orange network and I have finally got WLAN working fine for the internet connection and for receiving mail but I don't seem to be able to send (it says connection error).
I an however send via GPRS so it ios not as though I have the outgoing po3 mail settings incorrect. I have added the WLAN connection to the outgoing email account and prioritised.
Any thoughts woul dbe much appreciated

I think that you're trying to send e-mail using youre mobileoperators smtp settings, however when using wlan you need to use your ISP's settings. But there isn't really a easy way of switching between theese I think - but I may be wrong. It works for me by using gmails own smtpsettings both in wlan mode and in 3G mode...

Hi Thanks for your advice but I am still having trouble. I have set up a seperate email account for WLAN emails and have entered the pop3 adress as the incoming server and the Wireless modem IP address as the outgoing server but it still has connection issues. Any other thoughts?
