First off -- first post. I love the forums and recently purchased the special edition k800i for my European travels. I got the 100hrs/mo 3G plan with Vodafone and am loving it (am using it as a modem right now actually!).
In any case, I accidentally reset the file numbers on my photos after taking 250+ photos! How can I change the camera so it starts at that number so it doesn't replace all my photos when I transfer back to the computer? Thanks in advance!

no way back. but if you wanna get fast to the desired position you were, just use the best pic feature as much as you can until you reach the number of photos you want.
burst in my k750 takes 4 photos in a row, best pic are nine in a row, right. so:
burst mode: dsc00001 - dsc00005
best pic: dsc00001 - dsc00010

There is one way to get to 250 without take any picture!
Just rename in your PC any photo taken with your K800 to DSC00250.jpg and upload to the camera folder in your phone.
The next photo you take, it'll be named DSC00251.jpg etc...

I had actually tried that previously and it did not, it seemed like the obvious solution. Unless I did something wrong, of course. Your suggestion did work however and things are all back in order now. I did some reading while I aimlessly snapped photos
