Hey guys,

My old Nokia (6230) died, and I decided to take the plunge with the K750i - so far so good, made plenty of changes with the FAR manager thanks to this forum.

However, one thing I'm really missing (and it is seriously bugging me!) is the character count when writing SMS's - the K750i only counts down when there's only 20 characters left - Im more used to thinking how much Ive got left at around 50-60.

Is there any way to increase this to 160 (or even just 60) for a normal txt via FAR or otherwise?

I'm afraid that it can not be changed. The program was writen like that.

you thinks so

the brightness level has been changed with a patch, you can set it to 20% (50% default). so this can be done also. i think the problem is: where is it? if it gets found the only thing that has to change is the value, from 20 till 6, imo.

I wasn't really pinning my hopes on it, but thanks anyway.
