hi i have w700i and want to get rid of the highlighting animation
i just want simple selected and unselected icons
how to do that

i was taking of how to remove the animation
when you move over to any icon in main menu it becomes big and then again small and like wise continues and is surrounded by an semi transparent oval
how to get rid of it

its aint that good looking as i intalled orbit menu icons on my w700i which are white in color and with this animation it aint that pretty looking that why wanted to get rid of it IF possible

well my mate, you'd need to change the layout.xml for an edited one as i did (k750 cid36). i have changed my menu icons with crystal ones(by shiwantha). i donno if it would be easy for you as your w700 is cid49.

and takes hardly more then 2 min to crack into cid49 phone and get it back to normal state

so can you please upload you layout file which doesn't have that animation
as time being i am using the equalizer menu as a temporary replacement

i'd suggest that you change your icons menu too. the edited layouts are made for differents icons menu. right now i have full screen icons menu which don't have the bubble animation. they look great!

yep i am using the icons from equalizer menu but am more comfortable with the 12 icons default menu
so if possible can you please upload the layout file with does not have animation effect for the regular menu. i want to use it with orbit menu icons.
