The last couple of days I've been trying to connect my Palm to get online. After getting the PalmOS 4.1 Upgrade and some useful sofware (Blazer and Multimail), I'm now surfing away at greater speeds than when using the built in software of the (otherwise great) phone. I like it a lot! It's working and I'ts pretty fast. And it's free! (Well atleast until end of January for my provider....)

The most useful feature is the mobile mail. Not that I'm travelling alot, but when I do I can get to my mail in much the same way as I do at home!

But. One comment. This solution is *not* massmarket and will not be for a long time. It's far from user friendly to set up. It took me two days and about 3 or 4 tries before I got the settings right. And the information to get there is definately not in one place. I had to consult several pdf-files, web-pages and a Mobile Magazine before I managed to get it right. And I'm a Sofware Engineer.

Anyone know of any cool wap and mobile sites? XHTML maybe (just so that I can try the XHTML support of Blazer).

I'm almost tempted to look at Palm keyboard solutions as it actually seems to be useful now (for mail and SMS...).
