Whenever I seem to try to input a number into the phone I have to do a very very long winded approach...
On every other phone I've had, you can input the phone number, press "more" or "save" and the next page would be to input the persons name etc etc...
On the w950, inputting a number only allows you to call the number or "copy" which you then have to exit and open "Contacts" and add a new contact via pasting...which takes a few mins...
I was wondering whether a firmware update addresses this, but my phone isn't accepting updates via Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS)...it keeps saying that the phone has the latest firmware, but i'm sure it hasn't...
I'm on o2, and have had the phone since September without updating the firmware since then (I think)
Firmware:
Phone: CXC162037 R9C001
Bluetooth CXC162058 R3A01
Organizer CXC162088 R1B01
CDA CXC162017/8 R1Ao8
Any help is appreciated

i freaking hope the firmware update will combat this issue. there are so many things that dont 'function' how you would expect them to it is getting unreal.
so far i have issues with this (saving numbers), time display when alarm is going off, call timer, ringtones and message alerts resetting itself. and the voda brande firmware hasnt been released yet, so i guess i will just have to put up with it.
only other thing that
may be an option would be to take the handset back to network provider and put forward your reasons for not being happy with the phone (which are ALL manufacturer related) and they may allow you to exchange handsets. shame is, there arent any other handsets that im too keen on at the moment.
