> dead pixel after firmware update k610i

after updating my k610i to R1GB001 yesterday i could see a bright dot on the left of my screen. Anyone can tell me if firmware update could have done that or it just appear. Also its still under warranty only 2 weeks. am just thinkin if my warranty will be void....
