is it just me (standard 02 firmware) or is there no way to have the p990 vibrate in both silent and ringing modes ? I know you can set the vibrate to on or on if silent , but there doesn't seem to be an option for both ?
Also, has the notes synchronisation bug been sorted out in newer firmware ? In case anyone was unaware, the sync works fine if you add or delete notes in outlook or on the p990, however if you *modify* a note in outlook, the sync software doesn't register the change, whereas if you change the note on the p990 it does . ... something screwy somewhere...

when u set it to on, it will vibrate ALL the time, when it rings or in silent mode.

Mine doesn't do that - if you put it on silent, the vibrate doesn't cut in
[edit] Just checked - if i choose the vibrate if silent, it also doesn't work.

yeah, thats the case with all

as I recall and actually was probably one of the first surprises I had when I first got a T68 after having a Moto Startac and Nokia 8210 which logically auto switch from vibrate to ring when you connect a charger

Well, too bad. I guess than it's either a bug or an O2 thingy.
this is what I have, and it's set to on. And it does vibrate fist and then also starts ringing (or mp3-ing)

Bizarrely, my p910 vibrates when its on charge .... must be an *improved* feature on the p990 ...
Wonder why you'd not want that anyway - sometimes I can have my phone on charge and want it on silent but still vibrating as I would probably not notice a call but don't want the whole office to also know I have a call; the reason I wouldn't want this just because its charging is ??????

Going on logic, I'd say they took it out to stop any risk of losing the charging connection - may sound stupid, but my P905 has done just that before......very annoying to come back to the phone to find it's not charging anymore!
