I apologize if this is a stupid question, but I can't seem to figure things out. On my P990i, whenever I receive a MMS with a picture, the picture is only received with maximum dimensions of either 120 pixels wide or 120 pixels high. For instance, if someone sends a 320 X 240 image, I will only receive it at like 120 X 90. I have no restrictions set for "Download size" and I've tried using other phones on the same network (T-Mobile USA), and they receive the images at the resolution they were sent at. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? If anyone can help me out, please offer any suggestions. Thanks.

I don't like to double-post, but does anyone have a solution to this?

Okay, well here I am talking to myself in this thread.

Even if you don't know a solution to this problem for me, can anyone please at least let me know if they are experiencing anything similar so that I can hopefully find out whether I just have a setting wrong? I've searched everywhere online and it seems that others have had a similar problem using other phones. It's like the phone is just downsizing incoming MMS when it doesn't even need to. For example, if I send a 60 KB picture to myself, it gets downsized to about 10 KB when I receive it. Please help or I'm going to go insane!

Thanks for the reply, Tail. It's good to know I'm not the only one with the problem.

I recently checked it out on my old P910, and it does not have this problem. I also tried it on a Nokia, Motorola, and Samsung, none of which had this issue. I wonder why the P990 downsizes incoming MMS for no good reason. The images are often to small to even see any details in the picture. It's really frustrating!

Maybe it is just a bug with the phone because I tried changing all sorts of settings and nothing seemed to help. Does anyone know if this is a reported bug? Any others experiencing the same problem or found a solution?

Well I guess I will go report it in the developer forum over at SE. Before I do, would anyone else like to confirm this bug to see if it affects everyone?
