Hi.
I have a ericsson v800 and a friend sent (via bluetooth) a ringtone from his nokia. When i checked the file it was .ext (polisradio.ext a sound like swedish polisradios)
I have tried to change the .ext to .mp3 on the computer (linux) and then sent it back to the phone, now the phone sees the file as a audio file. The problem is when I goes via the menu to set the file as a ringtone, the choises are grey and it says:
This file is not drm proteced
Now I never ever seen this before. I listen on regular songs, I can play this specific file polisradio.mp3 but not use it as a ringtone. This problem has never been before (witch make this very trange) I had a sms tone called Yoda message from the darkside.mp3 and i was able to use it. Then I got myself a new scandisk memorystick and changed it (formated the memorystick via the phone so the phone could read it) I can't use that either.
So has anyone else stumble up on something like this?
Any idea how to solve the problem?
Is there any apps to tweak this drm?
