Need a bit of help guys.
I've had the phone for a couple of weeks now and I went to switch the phone on this morning and all I get is the walkman splash screen when the phone starts. I occasionally get a message about "trial expired".
I can still receive phone calls to the phone but this screen just won't go away - I've tried another sim card in there with the same result and my sim works in other phones.
Is there a way to do a master reset of the phone from keypresses or anything like that bearing in mind the screen just has this splash screen on all the time??

that should hopefully take you to master reset but then you're stuck, I think, unless you can see the delete on the left soft key so that you can click it
you could try taking the memory stick out in case the app which has expired is there (assuming that is the problem). then restart the phone
finally, maybe try plugging into SEUS and try reflashing

Just tried on my w950i for you.
Just make sure you do the steps CORRECTLY. If you think you made a mistake just hold the back button for a few seconds so it goes back to main screen and do it again right.

Well it seems to have corrected itself. I think the app in question was swiss manager - the trial must have expired for it.
Taking a call seems to have gotten rid of the screen so the phone seems to work ok now.
Bit worrying though that a trial software could cause this kind of problem.
