Hi, sorry if this has been covered before, i've had a look but havent found a definitiv answer. Where can i upload any files to in order to download them to my fone, this includes ring tones, themes and screensavers. I've tried uploading screensavers to esato, but when i go into my private screensavers via my fone and wap, all i get is a big black space where the images should be !! ALso where can i upload themes to.

cheers for that but it seems pointless as its up to them whether they showcase it or not, and if they dont, i cant download it via wap. i'm after somewhere like esato where i can upload files from my comp so that i can download them straight away using wap.

Why would you prefer wap to transfer files to your phone? Wouldn't you rather use a bluetooth key for the PC or an IrDa to transfer files to and from your phone? In the long run it's a lot cheaper.

I take it you haven't actually tried uploading stuff there.

Whenever I've uploaded stuff to phoneimage, it's never been refused, it's always been showcased. It may not stay up there forever but it should be there long enough to download via WAP.

If you use the Halebop WAP gateway you can download anything upto about 30KB via WAP from phoneimage.

It's just a suggestion though...

yeah cheers, will try that now then - already knew about the halbop gateway thingy.

also, am using wap at the mo cos i havent got a data cable yet or anything with infrared on it ! Actually while i'm here, where is the cheapest place to get a data cable from ??

I'd go for IR or BT instead, a cable limits you to just the one phone being able to use it.

I use the MA-620 IR Adapter, cheapest I found was here:

It works perfectly, and with other phones that have an IR port.
