Want something clever, practical and beneficial to your health? The t+ system enables people with diabetes to control their insulin intake using their mobile phones.

ESATO NEWS

They can enter data into their phones and then get feedback to a secure website from a specialised doctor or nurse who can advise whether their dosage should be increased or not. That saves hours of painful waiting in the G.P.'s office just to be told that everything's fine. The t+ system is available online for £10 subscription then £10 a month. www.thinkdiabetes.com

Nice idea, price seems a bit steep though.. i record all my data on p990i spread sheet, then download it.. Take the plots into the doctor.. they love it..
dedicated software would be nice though..

cheers Oz

I agree OZ, it does seem a bit pricey.
Good idea about recording your blood sugars on the P990i's spreadsheet. Pity I never seem to bother taking enough readings to actually fill a spreadhseet though!

Well perhaps not free.. i don't mind paying something for services like that.. but £10 a month is a bit off..
I'm a fairly new type one, so right now am recording data 5 or 6 times a day. the p990 is great for that
Sort of same topic, but wonder if any of you have come across a txt/doc that has carb values for food products. I got a little book, but would love to have data like that on my 990. I surfed for hours and couldn't find such a thing. I'm sure many diabetics would benefit from a txt file like that.

cheers to everyone Oz
