> K800i poor call quality

Hello i am new to Esato and i love it. I have a question i have a K800i on O2 pre pay i dont know if anyone has noticed that this phone has very poor call quality. Whenever a voice is quite loud or deep it distorts horribly in what sounds like a horrible gargle type sound. My friend at work has one too and his is the same. Has anyone else noticed this as i think the call quality is no where near as good as previous SonyEricssons. Though i must admit its still a ace phone. Please reply and tell me its not my ears.

My firmware is the very early first one but reception on O2 in my area is solid and i also have a 6233 and that is crystal clear but i know nothing is wrong with my K800i as my friends is the same and he is on Orange(unfortunately). Lol. It actually seems ok when i make a call in a noisy place but when someone speaks in a low tone its horribly gurgly like. I am not overly too worried about it though it is my main phone my 6233 is mainly used for T Mobile Web n Walk as its great value and everywhere i go where i live and work T Mobile 3G coverage is fantastic. Surprisingly.

Thank you..I thot I am the only one is having the problem. Yes I realised that a week or so. Though the problem was there for long time but only now I realized that when there is sudden change in the volume of the callers the sound distorts. Mine is the latest firmware..and having various problem with DS970 and K800 interaction. I suspect it is the K800i volume software related problem. The distortion level varies but on paying close attention it appears been always there but you wouldn't notice unless you were looking for it.
