> W710i or Nokia 5500 sport music edition?

I want to buy a second phone and it must have a good music player and fitness aplication. I think these 2 are the best out here. The price is almost the same. Which one is better in terms of music quality? Is the 5500 a buggy phone? Should i go for W710 or 5500 music edition? tnks:)

i like 5500 cos its a symbian fone with really amazing features. did u checked it already? the keypad is a bit weird imo, but u can get used to it. if u are a sport focused man, go for it

yes i like 5500 more and the keypad is not a issue for me. Im used to a p990 keypad so the 5500 keypad probably is not worse (At least the joystick cant be!)! lol. The only thing that concerns me is the OS... dont know if S603edition is so buggy and slow like Uiq3 is at the moment.

For shure the 5500 is more advanced than the W710, but at work we have several 5500 and everybody hates them, lousy keypad (the answer and hang up keys are a bad joke), super slow UI, smal text every where in the menues, bad battery life and quality issues conserning the battery( in two weeks two batterys have already died) and horrible fit and finnish( huge gap at the bottom of the battery hatch)
If that isn't enough the whole phone feels super cheap and the cam is the worst 2mp i have ever used.
If you can live without S60 i'd go for the w710 every day of the week!

5500 is much better. It has a much more advanced functionality like having your sms read out to you or the tap sensitive keyboard. It is a true sports model with robust casing and shock/water proof. 5500 uses the s60v3 which is very snappy and stable. And battery life is has been reported by users to be very good.
W710 on the other hand is just a normal phone sold as a sport model, nothing more. It is just a gimmick. You have to take care of it like any normal phone which defeat the sport tagging. It is not water or shock proof.

I would stay with sony ericsson because if its an original unlocked phone i can get free live tv as well as java apps that lets you send free pics and text as well as listen to great overseas FM radio through a java application with nokia its impossible

The 5500 specs sound so much more better than the W710, so I would get the 5500. The W710 is seriously ugly and bulky. It has that Sony Sport styling which is really ugly. The 5500 just seems so much better and the shock/water resistance is a plus also.
