Hi All,
I know you can use the phone to connect to the net from a PC. Does anyone know whether it is possible to use a PC as an internet gateway for the phone? I was hoping to be able to use the phone to browse and collect email using my PC's internet connection when I'm near a computer.
Cheers!

Contact your network provider. In most cases they can provide you with the settings to allow email to your phone.
As far as browsing goes, stick with WAP unless you have a smartphone/PDA.

I already have email working on the phone. I just wondered if it were possible to get a connection via a PC when connected using the USB cable, and use GPRS only when it isn't connected to a PC.

I haven't tried it yet but I believe using personal area network you can do it via bluetooth
but its strange that we don't seem to be able to do it via the USB cable as that would charge the phone at the same time. Windows mobile devices have had this feature for years now

Exactly, just changed from a SPV C600 and I could access my home e-mails at work.
