Hi
Can some people please post their own experiences with flashing your SE phone on Wotan. I was hoping to get some detail on:
1. Phone Model
2. Settings which got lost after the upgrade (eg GPRS settings, SMS Msg Centre number)
3. Anything which no longer works after the flash
4. Could you get settings again from your provider?
5. Anything gained from the upgrade
5. Anything else worth saying
I'm trying to decide whether to de-brand and I just wanted to get some other people's comments on using Wotan. I don't want to risk trashing my phone if their is no hugh benefit.

You always can call your CS rep and have them send the settings for e-mail, mms, sms, etc. directly to your phone. This is the most reliable way.

I've used wotan quite a few times with the phones I've had (k750, w810, k790) and I'm totally satisfied. you buy your credits though paypal and get the log account instantly. you do lose your settings but just a call or web visit to your service provider and everything's fine again. fortunately, I know how to enter all my settings manually.

I am from Asia and seems my ISP can't get stable connection to wotan ftp server. I got 2 credits still unused and still waiting until all underwater optic cable in Taiwan has been fixed.

My friend has flashed his K750i to W800i successfully. Wotan is awesome. It would be more if it were totally free of charge..why doesn't Wotan release a free login for a member like me? Haha..just kidding..

I assume that this will remove the annoying o2 startup and shutdown animations. The shutdown one seems to take a long time to stop for some reason.
