When i`m @ home my p990i is connected to my wi-fi and it works ok.Today when i took my phone to work,it would`nt connect to normal gprs.The earth would flash,then it would say could not locate remote server.What am i doing wrong?

It could be that you're not following the p990 manual or not asking your workplace's computer people for their network's settings.

You should set the priority on the control panel. Whne using the wifi,the priority is set to the wifi account and if your gonna used the gprs changed the priority to the gprs account i hope this helps. The setting is on the internet account on the control panel.

gprs costs money to use and by the sounds of it you have a payg card and you say it has no credit so it seems that is definitly your problem!

using wifi is not using any service from your mobile provider.

wifi is free when used at home and at a few places around town though most you have to pay for, but you pay the wifi provider in that case, not the mobile provider
