Probably an EROM error if the red lights are flashing. Wotan will solve this.

I'm sorry to hear that, but, the old same question:
---which EROM did you have?---
The only way out is visit SESC or buy Wotan's credit for a full reflash..
Just wonder though, my EROM is old, R3A011, I swap SIM cards, run out battery, unplug-plug USB, take out the battery, the M2 and all is just fine. Since R1ED001, I have had no WSOD at all..just my luck then. I used to have it in R1BC but after the update via SEUS, the WSOD is just gone by itself. BTW, mine is of CHINA_WI APAC K800i if that means something. And as mine is EROM CID 51, though I can ask a friend to give his Wotan log for me---as I'm just a poor boy, LOL---I simply can't update my EROM to the newer R3A016. Sometimes I'm worried too in case my old EROM is damaged...hope not.

yeah.. he's not helping himself at all... the answers were already posted... either you bring it back for repair or buy a wotan credit and reflash it! (you don't know how to do this? then read the other posts) and he still screams for help... i think he's expecting someone will come to him to do it for him

lol!

Have you upgrade your firmware lately (this month) through SEUS? If you did then you have to take it to SE authorised service centre! There is no other choice.

If you haven't upgrade your firmware recently then two choice:

1. If you can get service ASAP from SE then take it to them for warranty service.

2. If they say it took month for them to fix your phone then try http://www.kulankendi.com and get their client and install USB flash driver when the first time you use the client to read info from phone.
Update your EROM using their client with kulan/kulan as login/password. Charge your batt first, then took it out for 5 mins. take out SIM and M2 card. Put your batt back, choose EROM update and press flash. Press button 2 and 5 together in your phone and plug in your DCU-60 cable that came with your phone! If not sure check the manual at the web site.

NO! Some SE authorised service centre even will not do it for you (pretend don't know what EROM is), let alone SEUS!

how about this problem?

i debranded my k800i using the wotan client (latest version) and while in progress, it gave out the error message:

Flash packet end
broken answer, waiting for the rest...

i waited for 5 minutes then the wotan client suddenly shut down. i restarted my PC and when i started to run the wotan client, the phone can not be recognized anymore whatever i do.

and worst! my k800i would not even turn on anymore! no red lights flashing though.
