Hey all. Just received the P990i 2 days ago. The wifi works and sometimes dosen't. Thinking that it was becuse of the firmware, I upgraded it just 10 minutes ago, but the problem was still there. I'm connected to the internet using the "DefaultWifiAccount," but if I make a new account (i.e. jchen's wifi) and turn off the "Power save" under advanced, it will work fine. What's up with that??
With the "DefaultWifiAccount" I can use the internet fine for about a minute and then the i can't use the internet anymore, but the WLAN icon is still blue and connected and the earth sign is still flashing. On rare occasions, I can use the internet fine with no problems, no lost connections, and the earth sign is not flashing, not solid, and a little see through, Data Sent and Data received would be at 0 KB, and the status is "Inactive." To fix that problem, I have to reconnect to the router, but with the new account (i.e. jchen's wifi) I don't run into any of these problems.
I just want the "defaultwifiaccount" to work so I don't have to create a billion accounts just to get the internet to work.

Anyone else have this same problem? Any solutions? Thanks.

Okay, just created another account "jchen's wifi." Turned off the power save and I can connect to the internet fine, but the internet globe is not flashing and looks transparent. Under "Connections mgr," and under "jchen's wifi," the sent and received is 0.0 KB, even though I used the internet for about 5 minutes and under status it's "unknown."

Do I have a faulty p990?

No it's not faulty, I faced a problem like that but the problem was from the router. Now after that I have changed the router, no problems @ all. Try it in a different wifi network to check on it. But what is strange is the counter which is not accurate @ all for both wifi & GPRS!
