can ppl post up a list of changes that can be done using the far manager

Expand SMS Memory
````````````````````

You can expand your K750's/w800 SMS Memory very easy like it is written here:

1. Browse to the folder /ifs/settings/messaging/ with FAR Manager
2. select pref_store.txt an hit F4
3. Just change "/smsdata" TO "/tpa"
4. Save the changes the number 2 on the bottom
5. go back to "root" like mb-new description and shutdown the loader
6. Now restart your Phone and be happy

Tested on my w800 and works

Turn off camera sound.

1. Search "customize.xml" file - you can find it in FS/tpa/preset/custom
2. In "customize.xml" search for:

3. Save file.
4. For change option in file "customize.xml" you must do "master reset" - it can be without los of user data.

Now you can take photos without camera sound - if phone is in silence mode ("#").

teseted but couldnt do master reset as the default lock code 0000 didnt work

killing camera sound
go to FS/tpa/preset/system/sound and delete file camerashutter.3gp and for killing autofocus sound delete file camerafocus.3gp.

tested and works

The startup logo (the ericsson symbol) that you see when the phone boots (before the startup screen) can be changed by creating a 176x220 image in the folder tpapresetsystemsettings. The image must be called SPLASH, no extension. You can also replace the startup sound by swapping STARTUP_SOUND_SEMC.mid for your own version.

Yep. Go to tpapresetsystemcustmenu and delete all the folders that contain the menus you don't want (probably all of them), then delete the cust_menu_data.dat and cust_menu_done_unpacking.dat files

This is about one of the best hacks of the whole thing! Bloody annoying those menus were.

look for the string ... "message-max-size"100"message-max-size". Just change 100 on 1024
