> Would you guys swop your t68i for a Sharp GX10

I am getting really annoyed with my T68i phone and was thinking of swopping it for the new Sharp GX10 what do you guys think of this new sharp phone?

It looks a lot better in that picture there, without those nasty vodafone badges! Ugh I hate phones with network badges on! The features look pretty good though.

i'd swap it out, but Sharp is relatively new to the "cell phone" industry, where was SE has been around for a long-ass time. There's bound to be some majore glitches and bugs, considering, the T68i still has some huge bugs. It's up to you. I personally wouldn't do it because I"ve proved to myself a million times I have the worst luck ever so I'm bound to get a lemon, but you should try it out. Built in camera rocks.

Well, The Reason that the GX10 has vodafone badges on it, is becuase the version that vodafone use, is customised. Vodafone worked directly with Sharp in making the fone.
If you look properly it says, GX10 by Sharp, they are not selling it as there own fone yet!!! (To my knowledge, and if they are, i appoligise)
As for which fone to choose, I had the T68i, and sold it, I looked at both the Sharp and the Panasonic, and in the end i went for the panasonic, for a few reasons.
1) It was outselling both the 7650 and GX10 here in Ireland
2) it's nicer looking, not a square looking
3) it (supposedly) has a longer battery life (i only have it a day and don't know, but it is also one of the features the vodafone sell it as "Long Battery Life")
I know it does not have Java (the panasonic that is) but is has a games engine called ExEn by a company called In-fusio. It is a modified J2ME, Java. According to the In-fusio web site, the ExEn engine can play ordinary Java Games. But i have yet to confirm that!!
well that is only my opinion,
I hope it helps, I'm sure there are load of thing i'm leaving out, and if i Remember i'll post again,

No email client on the Sharp, transferring images taken with the camera is difficult from the phone when you're out and about (not figured how to use the infrared for this yet).
The Panasonic GD-87 is better with a bigger screen.
Unfortunately, neither has Bluetooth so I will be sticking with my t68i.

i don't know.... if you've used clam-shell phones before you know you like them then you should get it....
I know i HATE clam-shell phones; I lived in Korea for a year and there are ONLY clam-shell phones there... even with the 65k screen and everything, i wouldn't upgrade....
